Describe fog in an octet, an 8-line poem with syllables from 8 to 1 and a mirrored octet.
         Billowing, rolling, shape-shifting
         a blackout curtain descends
         sound muffled, ruffled, flat
         dampness binds the air.
         Boundaries blurred.
         Deception.
         Eerie.
         Fog.

         Fog
         brain haze
         confusion.
         Boundaries blurred.
         Perception plummets.
         Thoughts muffled, shuffled, spent.
Plans, dates, words behind a veil
         exotic, splintered, shape-shifting.
