Why I am so angry.
Like a claw that digs into my flesh
The world cuts into my soul
It bleeds away my life so fresh
Leaves me no longer whole

Anger rises from my scars
Like lava from deep within
While rich fools smoke cigars
And count the profits from their sins

Why should the wicked thrive
When good people fail
Dead children should be alive
Yet are swept away by the gale

Justice, truth, and good behavior
Should earn their own reward
But still, I wait for a Savior
To set things right across the board

Until then I shout and scream
Into the din of the storm
I tell mankind of the dream
That evil cannot deform
