Poem about a house full of stuff
The Full House

The time has come, it's do or die
It all has got to go
From Barbie dolls to softball gloves
I'll find them high or low

My fishing rod that I so loved
When I was just a kid
Both basketball and bowling ball
No longer will stay hid

I'll find them all, those treasures old
From days of long ago
They'll all be gone from my full house
Come twister, hail, or snow

Now I've begun, the game's afoot
What will be my first prize
The jersey from my high school team
Has come into my eyes

But maybe I'll look somewhere else
That may not be the one
For when I see that shirt I think
Of all the games we won

I see it now, that old train set
It sits and gathers dust
But wait, someday I'll set it up
Once I scrape off the rust

My vinyl records, they can go
Although I do have fears
They might be worth a fortune in
Another hundred years

And those old clothes that fit no more
Since I've grown round and plump
But why give up, they'll fit just fine
Once fifty pounds I dump

I've got it now, I see the light
It's all clear in my head
What I must do is ditch the house
And keep the junk instead
