Prompt: Reason, Science

What is the reason for science?
A question the student did ask.
The teacher asked for compliance
Demand she get on with her task.

She mixes liquids and powder,
Pours into glass tubes and dishes.
Bright colours, odours, surround her.
Bang! She’s blown out of her britches.
