Actual observation of an avian activity
Today I see a white gull dancing
I didn't know that is a thing
on the grass that bird is prancing
watch his feet rat-tat-tapping
back and forth
stamp-stomp-stamping
pause and peer
then march some more
drums his feet to beat the ground
till the worms rise to see
who is knocking?
who is making such a din?
then the seagull snatches breakfast
see it gulp it down
and then
again I see the white gull dancing
