Paranormal Horror
I always enjoy Marc Layton's Horror for both the lyrical senses-exploration as well as his imaginative Horror venues and possibilities. His characters are well-developed and amenable, and the villains are SCARY. I also admire the character evolution, a little different but equally important in each book in this series.
