garden past remembered
garden past remembered

My wife and I have been gardening for decades. We had a garden in Virginia where we had to contend with rabbits attacking our food. In Barbados we had a great garden out back for three years. Gardening in Barbados was a bit of a chore, it got too hot to do it in the afternoons. There was a band of monkeys who watched us all the time. When she drove to drop me off at the Embassy they would ransacks the garden. When she came back she would have to throw things at them for them to leave the garden. We also had giant african snails to content with. In Madrid we had balcony garden that was too productive, lots of fresh zucchini all year long, and a good garden in Incheon where we grew mint, Basel, lemon grass, and sesame.
