These days
The whole world seems
Like a giant broken place

So many broken souls
Walking down broken streets
In broken down cities.

Filled with Broken down cars
And broken dreams
Broken promises.

Broken public services
Broken down trains
Broken down buses.

Broken down people
Arguing
With other broken down folks,

All wondering
How and why
Everything seems broken,

With broken politicians
Fighting broken wars
In broken foreign lands.

While ignoring the broken down capitol
Down the broken streets
From the broken down White House.

Next to the broken down halls
Of broken down power brokers
Broken down old men and woman.

All these broken places
Remind us that the world
Is a broken place.

And we all are guilty
Of breaking
The broken world.
