Burden of Being the King for Writer's Digest

King William Alexander
Was in a foul mood
As usual on his birthday

He was turning fifty-five
had to endure the mandatory party

Eating "saté".*
Drinking sake
And looking glum

He hated getting older
Hated being King.

Just wanted to escape
The gilded palace
As least for a day.

He sighed
Realized that he would
never be free.

the burden of being a King
he sadly concluded.

Use in your poem or story the following words - and bold these for tomorrow's judge:

King William Alexander
birthday

fifty-five
party
"saté".*
