True love always pours forth and never tries to possess.
A kiss unjoined by other lips
might seem an idle smack;
an incompletion, not an act,
which touch and feeling lack,

but love from love, though unreturn'd
or weathered in the storm,
is yet a joy to he who loves ---
and love in purest form.
