Poem (ish)
What does it feel like to grow old?

Does it hurt? Is it sore?

My mom says I am in the flower of life
Flowers too, wither and die

I’d rather be old I think
Get it over with

I’d rather be old with eyes that have seen so many more beautiful things
And have accepted the senselessness of it all

Old people seem to be one with that

Toothless smiles
Wrinkly skin and radiance within

But A treasure like this must be earned
And Time does not forgive
