I think she likes me.
I still remember how it was
the first time that we met.
She never even glanced at me,
just playing hard to get.

Then when I said hello to her
she told me to get lost.
But I decided she’d be mine,
no matter what the cost.

Now some say I was ‘stalking’ her.
That’s such an ugly word.
Oh, I’ll admit I followed her,
but ‘stalking’ is absurd.

I think she likes me, I can tell.
Yeah, I would make a bet.
I could be wrong and if I am,
well, I would be upset.

Okay, okay, I was obsessed.
She didn’t take it well.
And when I told her how I felt
she said to go to hell.

But this time she has gone too far
by calling for a cop.
I guess I’ll have to take a break
or maybe even stop.

Or I may follow her some more
(a choice I might regret).
I’m sure she’s only teasing me,
just playing hard to get.
