This poem describes a time when I was depressed and listening was unbearable for me.
Music is a wonderful thing
except for when one cannot listen
A primadonna is a horror
Tenor is not better
Seductive villainous baritone
just makes you feel more alone

Voices tearing at memories
liltingly stealing away sanity
They scared me
Reminded me of the world
conjured poisonous melancholy
Sending knives to my heart
with lyrical curses.

For a time I just could not bare it, but art is an antidote for almost any woe.
So now music continues to be my saviour.
Even though it once just made me even crazier.
