Love Letter

Gustav chewed the end of his pencil.

"I'm no good at this," he thought desperately. Writing a love letter just wasn't his thing. With a hopeless gesture, he let the pencil drop to the floor.

Just then, the doorbell rang. Answering it, he found his friend Larry, looking all excited about something. "Hey, they're having a buy-one-get-one-free at ..."

But Gustav didn't wait to hear. "Listen, I have this love letter to write," he snapped. "I'm getting nowhere with it. I have a string of failed attempts in my writing pad, but nothing real."

Larry, the expert on everything, sat at Gustav's desk and pondered the feeble attempts on the writing pad there. One by one, he tore up the sheets, ceremonilusly dumping them in the wastebasket.

"What you need," he declared, "is some expert advice."

"And you're going to give it to me?"

"Yes, I am. I'm going to tell you to go to Lilith of House Martell's forum, where everyone is talking nothing but love."

Together, they went to "Question of the Day!"  and found the words.

Dear Almitra,
When I look in to your eyes, I feel besotted. It's like being drugged but feeling alive at the same time. I am so enamoured of you, that I'm glowing with joy. Our intimacy gives me so much enchantment ..."

In no time, he had the letter finished. He tied it with string (just to be more romantic) and went to drop it in the mail box.

He got his reply in person. He's now asking Lilith of House Martell to do a question on the best words to use in a wedding invite.

PS - Yes, Sssssh! I'm not really here. , Gustav knows it'll be expensive, but some things are worth the money!
