Cramp = Turn a blind eye
It’s not your problem the homeless on the street
All the hungry and crying with no food to eat

All of those whose life is just so hard
You pass them by with disregard

You pretend not to notice the rejection in their eyes
As they beg for a quarter or dollar as you pass by

You go on to work without a care in your life
As you step over them and turn a blind eye.

They are not lazy or just being a bum
They have mental demons they can’t out run

They are used to being alone and ignored
Maybe just donate socks or blankets to keep them warm.

One day they might conquer their problems and woes
And get back on their feet and make it back home.

No amount of caring or giving or blame
Can combat the homelessness of the mentally insane.
