Acrostic poem. {86 words.} {7 lines.}
Deep in the middle of the night noises become real
Aloud mixture of creaks and moans are constantly
Reminding me that maybe I am not truly alone
Keeping my mind wandering and eyes wide open
Neath the covers I hide and wait for the morning light
Every part of me is shaking in fear of the darkness
Shhhh, now be as quiet as you can till night ends
Somewhere in your mind you realize it was a dream
