A Dream

I had a dream,
where I was seventeen.
You weren't there,
yet I felt your stare.

I couldn't feel my heart,
after it was broken apart.
Life was torn,
sliced by a thorn.

This dream,
felt so extreme.
All alone,
finally dethroned.

I began my search,
to learn,
who I am.
