ROOT BEER FLOAT

Root beer {A&W} and vanilla ice cream mixed together can be so yummy tasting
Other root beers simply do not taste as good, I did have chocolate ice cream once
Once, I felt like I was cheating on the vanilla, but never did I ever cheat on A&W
The best time to try this concoction is Summertime on the hottest, longest of days


But I have found that on a cold winter's day or night they taste just as good so
Every time you yearn for a sweet little snack grab the ice cream and cold A&W
Even in the early morning I need it, I get a glass, ice cream and root beer quietly
Remembering my childhood, I don't believe I liked them as much as I do as an adult


Frankly I believe I have become addicted to this yummy little treat; I think I need help
Leaving them alone would truly make me upset and I could never find a better substitute
Oh, well I think for now I will just cut down on the amount that have each day and really,
Actually, I think I would like to try strawberry shortcake or maybe a big banana split,
Thinking it through I believe I will stick with my old standby because I don't want to cheat
