'ACQUAINTANCE'

Across my life I have become friends with many different people
Constantly meeting the good ones and the bad ones in everyone
Quickly and quietly, I wander through each stage of my chaotic life.
Upside down and inside out my brain is on ever constant overload.
Among those I met are many whom I have grown to love and cherish
In the emergency room I met a nurse who sang to soothe my nerves
Needless to say, we have all met a few earthly angels who have always.
Tried to give us their blessings and lend us a hand through prayer.
As I go on my journey, I'm sure there will be many more that I meet.
Not knowing where my life will lead, I welcome anyone willing to enter.
Children, men, women, even pets need someone to be there with them.
Everywhere I go I meet someone new which is pretty darn cool to me.
