A 99 words long flash fiction about the struggle to be happy
It was not easy. It had never been easy.

Still, I fought through it, fighting until I gained a smile on my own face.

I tried to do everything in my power to help people who didn't like me. Who treated me as a thing, who said "Look at that!" to their girlfriends while pointing at me. Who started giggling when I went for a walk.

Why was I still doing everything for them?

I didn't realize they really didn't like me until it was too late. Way too late.

But miracles do happen. One such had saved me.
