A sister gone
Until

The stars in the sky

Part their blanket of cover

Our reunion will have to wait.

Until

The hummingbirds dance

in God's green garden

Our next meeting shall have to pause

Until

The last laugh we shared

Floats as music in the heavens

Our homecoming shall be delayed.

Until

Angels, once again, light the path

And God shall call my name

Our gathering will be postponed

But Until

That day, I shall carry the memories of you

So near to my heart

Treasured gifts of love and friendship shared

Shall ever reside in the seed of my thoughts

Precious joys of a lifetime remembered

A sister forever, endlessly cherished

Until

That glorious day

We reunite in God's golden light

I shall wait for our next loving embrace
