I remember.
So very, very long ago.
Ages, centuries, a lifetime;
I loved you. I touched you,
and you touched me.
I haven't forgotten your touch
or those eyes,
our secrets,
the love.

How could I, why would I try?
Sometimes, when the wind blows just so
or my days are melancholy,
you come back.
Would I love you now? Could I see you today,
would you touch me, or turn away?

Do you remember your promises?
My face,
my eyes,
my name ?

Do you?

I remember you.
