This is a poem about a friends loss to drinking and driving
If I never saw that girl,
I would have never drank that night
If I never started the car,
my love would still be here tonight
The days may pass and the weeks may soar
But my love for her is what I still adore
How could I have done it,
how could this be me
I don't drink and drive,
this could never be
Why did this happen,
why am I here
Is this a test,
to stop my friend from passing the beer
All I know is that if I never drank that night
She would still be here and never had to go into the light.
