Putting off living today, there's always tomorrow!

Putting off living today
There's always tomorrow;
That's not really true
We learn to our sorrow.

Always tomorrow we say
There will be time to do
Everything that needs
To be done, all we have to do!

Tomorrow I will visit my friend
Tell him that I appreciate
All the times he made me smile
But tomorrow may be too late.

I may not have a tomorrow
I may just have today
We don't know what's ahead
We are but bits of clay.

In the potter's hand
We are molded and become
Either a treasure to keep
Or just trash, undone.

There's always tomorrow
To hold our loved ones tight
Tell them that we love them
Make everything all right.

Better to tell them now
Imagine all the sorrow
If there was not to be
An "always tomorrow".
