CABIN FEVER

It must have been a winter squall,
The snow outside was window tall.

The cabins fireplace does its best,
But this storm just won't rest.

Bundled up from head to toe,
I watch as the snowdrifts blow.

I'm half frozen, half insane,
I tried to wipe the frozen pane.

Looking through the frosted glass,
I'm praying for the storm to pass.

Its quiet outside in the storm,
All's inside, who's safe and warm.

For when the blustery ice-winds blow,
It's cabin fever- - or the snow.
