What October means to me.
Somehow the moon looks bigger and brighter
Laughter sounds real and much, much lighter
The crisp air carries light and sound farther
I think

Halloween brings delicious fright and fear
Trick or treaters ring the bell in my ear
Autumn is once and for all, finally here
I think

My son in his costume, he looks so cool
He just can't wait to wear it to school
At 6, he IS cool, when I think about it
I think

October is a wonderful time of year
A month that I will always hold dear
It means to me that autumn is here
I know
