death. . .
The world around me is fading fast.
My mind fills with visions from the past.
People faces all around,
Mouths wide open, yet no sound.

Mommy's eyes are filled with fear.
Sounds of sirens become near.
She holds me close, her hand in mine,
I know that I have little time

Please tell Daddy I say goodbye.
And tell my friends not to cry.
Piercing pains creep down my spine,
In a few moments I'm sure I'll be fine.

Distant whispers say try and be stronger,
I can't feel Mommy's hand any longer.
The light ahead touches the ground,
As God's angels dance all around.

My spirit glides through the air,
I turn my head and see my body lying there.
Mommy's arms hold me tight,
As she prays for a miracle with all her might.

Police gathered all around
And picked my body up off the ground.
Mommy's eyes stare into space,
As they pulled the blanket over my face.

Time has come to take God's hand,
And follow Him to His special land.

One last look to say goodbye,
Holding back the tears I cry.
Forever at your side and in your heart,
Love will never let us part.
