The "holidays" aren't jolly for everyone...
"DECEMBER"

A Christmas Once Warm
now Chills the Soul.

Cold, bleak & barren
are lights of good cheer.

December 1 and December 17 are
Dark Days
that lead to even darker nights.

The heart continues
Pumping blood -

But not Warmth.
Not feelings.
Not Life.

Remembering Christmases Past -
feeling the ghostly glow of
Christmas Warmth
flood my being.

Tears appear independently
and unannounced
at any evanescent moment.

Recapturization of my youthful
Christmas Warmths
is unrealistic and
utterly impossible.

'Tis the seaon
to be jolly?
