Journal entry & excerpt from autobiography, "One Woman -- Many Lives"
9/20/92 (Continuation of Same Tape)

This is the continuing saga of my life. There are many stories I must include, and this is one of them. I think I’m going to wrap this one up for now, though. I hope you’ve enjoyed yourself here today – I haven’t!

Tonight is September 20, and I’m having my aloha party at Bobby’s. People will be there, and we’ll all be happy & sad together. You always have to leave people, no matter where you’re going to or coming from. Some of these friends I’ll keep in touch with, but I’m not holding my breath on their teary promises. I know most will drift out of my life, but that doesn’t mean I’ll forget them. They won’t lose their specialness in my heart… I’m sure I shan’t be lost from their memories, either…

People typically don’t forget me. Whether they see me walking down the street, sitting in the car next to them; or if they know me for 5 minutes, an hour or years… I guess I’m not a woman easily forgotten, given my persona and outfits.

I love my life but I hate it, too. I’m living my life, and no one could live it like me. I don’t even know how I live it sometimes…

So this, again, was a continuance of The Legendary Laurier Lesbian… Bye for now – oh wait – I mean, ALOHA!!!
