A "Thanbouk" written for Roobear's Writing Workshop
Prompt: Write a poetry form known as a Thanbauk. In this 3-line complete poem, each line has 4 syllables, and the 4th one in the first line, the 3rd one in the 2nd line and the 2nd one in the 3rd line will rhyme. Fun? Confused? Read this and see:

Trying

See this first prize,
Fifteen tries, yet
he cries - no wins.

By the way, this style is originally Burmese and is called a "climbing poem", because the rhyme climbs up from the 4th, to the 3rd and finally, to the second syllable!
