Bitterness
My Dear Valentine
By Sugaree

Man, I can remember the first day I laid eyes on you
You looked so normal
Your words seemed so true.

You told me that you were a gentleman
One year later,
I found that you were a mental man

We used to chat til the wee hours of the morning
Now, I sit here devastated
A product of your scorning

I remember the flowers you gave me on Valentine’s Day
Not realizing that was just game play

Do you remember telling me how we were always going to together?
These storms we would weather

Remember that gold watch you gave me?
It was so shiny
So the evil I did not see

Our lips met in a tender kiss
Now those same lips
I could piss
