A poem about love that isn't returned
Unrequited Love

When people say they've never been in love
maybe they just mean they've never had a lover
because I have never even gone on a date
but I know how it feels to have your heart break

My love for you is something you don't see
and its dragging me to my knees
I've hit the floor
and I can't try anymore

I say I'm just not social -- I hate everyone
and high school parties are dumb
but I'm just afraid I'll see you there
because I know you just don't care
