Writer's Cramp Prompt: walking
Use a triolet :The triolet is an old French form that is short and witty or more traditionally romantic. It has 8 lines in the rhyming scheme abaaabab. The first two lines (ab) and the last two lines(ab) are the same, as well as the first line and the fourth.

Moon-walking and the Courageous Bob Cat

To be out moon-walking late at night,
Ascending a hill is a lovely climb.
Granted, perhaps, it may not be bright
To be out moon-walking late at night,
For one time I had a most dreadful fright.
Yet the air is fresh, and it’s a quiet time.
To be out moon-walking late at night,
Ascending a hill is a lovely climb.

But I was hiking when I saw a huge beast.
I trembled, afraid, that he might soon crunch me.
I did not desire to provide him a feast,
But I was hiking when I saw a huge beast.
Thus, I fretted I’d soon be deceased.
I cried out in panic, “Oh, please let me be.”
But I was hiking when I saw a huge beast.
I trembled, afraid, that he might soon crunch me.

That lion he yawned, curled up from sleep.
“Why do you bother me?” he all at once roared.
I was petrified, and I started to weep.”
That lion he yawned, curled up from sleep,
But his tail still switched; I feared he might leap.
“Tell me a story,” he said. “For I’m bored.”
That lion he yawned, curled up from sleep.
“Why do you bother me?” he all at once roared.

Because I was scared, I told my tale slow.
“The hero, of course, was a courageous bob cat,
And this brave-hearted cougar made friends with his foe.”
Because I was scared, I told my tale slow,
And it meandered, and then just seemed to grow.
When I was all finished, he purred, then said, “Scat.”
Because I was scared I told my tale slow.
“The hero, of course, was a courageous bob cat.

To be out moon-walking late at night,
Ascending a hill is a lovely climb.
Granted, perhaps, it may not be bright
To be out moon-walking late at night,
For one time I had a most dreadful fright.
Yet I told a tall tale and had a good time.
To be out moon-walking late at night,
Ascending a hill is a lovely climb.
