Peaceful dreams throughout the darkened hours.

A Cradled Spirit


Awaken! Oh dreams
take to flight
as musical creatures
of the night.

And graceful sail
enchanted sleep
o'er silent seas
the water's deep.

Pass so gentle
peace of rest
a cradled spirit
now at best.

Hourglass exhaust
the sands of time
til morning light
again be mine.

With vigor now take
the day at hand;
for ready I am
to firmly stand!
