Small poem with colors and maybe a message about our uniqueness.
As fine a cord I shall ne’er see
as the silken twine I labor upon endlessly
It draws into my wondrous weave
slight and sweet as thine angels dream
A thread so bare I’ve begot
oft’ o silver, blue, black, and peridot

Tis green for peace I do spin
an’ black for the mood I’ve in
blue shorn for the sky I dream
an’ silver for my cloudy seam

No thread finer my needle knows
an’ lifeline it is where my heart goes
It leads back to a grand tapestry
O’er colors of years and meaning of me
A thread so sheer I’ve begot
oft’ o silver, blue, black, and peridot.

Tis green for peace I do spin
an’ black for the mood I’ve in
blue shorn for the sky I dream
an’ silver for my cloudy seam

So fine a thread, so sheer, so bare
Ne’er you find it the same anywhere
Tis mine, and mine alone
a weaving twine in a tapestry home
My thread a story merry begot
oft’ o silver, blue, black, an’ peridot.

Tis green for peace I do spin
an’ black for the mood I’ve in
blue shorn for the sky I dream
an’ silver for a cloudy seam.
