the key to this poem, I am the one who set these rules for myself
Why is it that work is the
only acceptable fun
You do not let me rest until
my work is done
And when I am sick, or tired,
it still seems
You're angry at me because I haven't
done my things
Who in the world designated all these
chores for me
That make sure I do not have a
life to lead
Your idea of what is right for
a loving wife
Hasn't left any room for thought
or fun in life
