Attempted understanding of why "victims" never do anything about it.
Why does he stand over her
Between the light and darkest corridor?
Truth stabs home her reality, "She
Came from that black hall, groping
For any light. She saw as much as he
Would allow to filter through." Hoping
To understand, I submit to that darkness.
After I was buffeted by blindness, robbed
By Ignorance, and touched Insanity's face;
hopelessness
Stole over my spirit. Truth sadly sobbed,
"These were never my children. They plod
Between hell and him - their only god."
