How I view the value of material things of the world and our everlasting life in heaven.

I need Him

I don't need this,

I don't need that.

I don't need shoes, a coat, or a hat.

I don't need anger,

I don't need a critic,

I don't need a Ford, Tahoe, or Civic.

I don't need candy,

I don't need kites,

I don't need a house, money, or fights.

I need Him and He will provide,

all I have to do is stick by His side.

He will give me bread,

the Bread of Life,

He will give me love,

eliminate the strife.

They say you need three things to survive,

they say that these things will keep you alive.

Food, clothes, and shelter are essential, right?

100 years of life is a wonderful sight.

I have something better than those who prize things,

I will live eternally, wearing my wings.
