Written for contest. Title is the prompt.

Scanning the room,
         Searching for a thought.
My eyes stopped on the street sign.

My street sign.
         From my street.
                   From my home.

For hide and go seek it was base.
For dare, another pole to climb.
For tag a quick turn around.

It stood at the bus stop.
The one I waited at each morning,
                   Each morning for thirteen years.

It stood at my corner,
Where I waited for dad each day,
Waited to climb into his arms

I looked out at my new corner.
Here is where I live now
But home will always be Mulberry Street.

And the sign I see,
That I keep on my wall,
                   Makes this feel like home.
