A little girl, the victim of domestic violence.
Run!
Don't stop.
Keep my legs running as fast as they can carry me.
Run!
Don't stop.
If I stop he'll catch up.
I know what'll happen if he does.
I don't even know what I did this time.
Maybe I've been naughty.
Maybe.
If I was better I wouldn't make him mad.
If I was more like my brother I'd be O.K.
Daddy liked George.
He was nice to me when George was here.
Keep running.
Don't stop.
Don't think of George.
Daddy said it was my fault.
My fault I have no mum.
My fault I have no George.
My fault.
Here he comes.
Run!
Don't stop!
I miss mummy.
Mummy's with my fish.
Daddy called it heaven.
Run!
Don't stop!
I shouldn't be so naughty.
My feet hurt.
My bruises hurt.
Daddy's coming.
Please don't hurt me daddy.
Daddy.
I should run faster.
I wish I did.
Run!
Don't stop!
But it's my fault.
Daddy.
If only I was good.
If only I could run.
Maybe he wouldn't have caught up.
Maybe he wouldn't have hurt me.
Maybe he wouldn't be alone now.
Without me.
Cos Daddy punished me.
And now I get to be with mummy.
