Who determines the final moment--He or man?
ABOUT SUICIDE—a sonnet

Shall I leave my departure to my fate?
Or, shall I take decision on my own
To end my life and leave the earthly gate,
When I feel that tired of life, I’ve grown?

Poor me! Why should such thoughts bother me so?
When my time comes, I won’t have a moment
To think whether to stay in world or go.
Why not let God his own wish implement?

When man has no power to avert death,
He can’t have power to induce it, too.
Predestined is death by the Architect,
Who sent all of us to earth, me and you.

So, better give up all thought of suicide.
We must always by Him only abide.

* Written as Shakespearean sonnet.
