Beckoned by both Love and Death!
BECKONING—a sonnet

Forever you’re engraved within my heart,
No one can separate us, me and you.
Death can no longer play villainous part.
For you I too will embrace death, it’s true.

Until I live, you will be mine always
And when I quit this world we will be one.
We cannot understand God’s hidden ways.
It was ordained that what He willed be done.

True love transcends barriers of this world;
We truly have been in touch all along.
Your soul is now free like a soaring bird;
To physical borders, you don’t belong.

My love, for me please wait in the heavens.
I won’t be late, Death’s angel now beckons.
