LOTR poems
Untitled #6068

Through the long years
of my childhood
slowly aging
as my kind
lived and died
sheltered and protected
Growing apart from myself
A stranger in my own skin
Yet grow I did
And soon
it was my fate to be woman
and alone
until my love left me
bitter I have become
two living seperate
my sol grew cold
and winter embraced me
then you came to me
a stranger in need
and then I was mended
the two lived as one
in love I fell
with your beauty
so quiet
and so visible
yet hidden
then as all good things are
you were taken from me
here I linger
alone
grieving eternal
for what I lost
