A poem about love
There once was a boy who entered my life
With the warmth of sunshine on a winter’s day
It brought me such joy by simply knowing
Of his very existence

The smile on his face would brighten the darkest day
And turn the gray clouds into sunshine
Yet never knowing the reason why
He became so important to me

I cannot live without him near me
Sharing the warmth and joy I so desperately need
Holding me so close that only the two of us know
Just how special these feelings have become

Then I thought it was just a passing thing
Now I know the joy loving you can bring
Then I thought my love would someday die
Now I know I can never say goodbye
