Departed wife’s soul visits the husband.
HE FELT THE SHADOW

He felt the shadow of her soul,
Engrossed as he was in her thought.
From nowhere did swell memories,
Engraved deep which were in his heart.

Lost in that silent communion,
The two souls passed precious moments
That lasted an eternity,
Howsoever fleeting were they.

Enslaved he was to those moments,
Silently waiting day and night,
Hoping to meet her once again;
A life time he could wait for her.

Doubt he did not harbour any
Of her again coming one day.
Wife and husband loving were they!
