I belong to two writers' groups in my area. I took prizes in the 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2014 Ohio Poetry Day events. In the local county fair I have won prizes for my photos and for my quilts. My hobbies include: quilting, sewing, knitting, smocking, embroidery, photography, and tasting Ohio wines. I also collect rat items (someone's gotta love them). I have been working on my master's degree and hope to graduate in May, 2015.
