River graduated from Simpson University, in 2012, with a B.A. in Vocal Performance. She is currently a voice teacher in Gig Harbor, Washington. She enjoys singing, composing music, participating in performances at her local community theatre, and volunteering at the Senior center at the local Boys and Girls Club. She is an accomplished playwright, having written and produced a musical at her university as well as writing and directing several sketches for her church over the years. She is currently working on writing a full-length play that she plans to produce as a touring production someday.
