I'm a 65 yo M physician coming to the end of my medical career. I'm looking for the next thing that will make me want to get up in the morning. I'm an avid reader and am interested in trying to write. I'm not sure how good I'll be at it but I'd like to give it a shot. My favorite authors are Diana Gabaldon, Pierce Brown, John Grisham and Nelson DeMille to name a few. I would appreciate any advice, recommendations and feedback. I'm invested in this but I can stand having my feelings hurt if it'll help me grow. Anything that I've ever found to be rewarding required some harsh reviews and a few tears.
