A short story in the Pendergast saga by Douglas Preston & Lincoln Child, this one tells a tale involving the Pendergast brothers when they were young. It definitely has a different feel to it than the novels in the mystery series.

Fans of the Pendergast series and Preston/Child collaborations will probably enjoy this short e-book.
I especially liked...
I can't help but love Agent Pendergast so I was intrigued to read a story from his childhood.
I didn't like...
It had more of a ghost story, supernatural feel to it, which differs greatly from the norm of the Pendergast novels.
When I finished n/a this Book I wanted to...
Read the next book, which I'm sure was the point of releasing this story - to whet the appetites of fans before the new book is released!
I recommend this Book because...
It's a fun read, but you'll probably only fully appreciate it if you're already aware of the Pendergast series.
