The story is about the creation of a town called Thneedville, a town, entirely made of plastic. When a young boy finds that his crush wants nothing more than a real tree, he hopes that finding one would steal her heart. His journey to find a tree reveals the history behind the creation of thneedville and the fate of the trees.

I especially liked...
Truffula forest and the creatures of the forest who care for the trees so much. The animals are cute and funny.

Grateful that we still have trees and should continue to strive and make the earth a greener place.

It's fun, thought provoking and has a good moral.
